Why everyone keeps coming back.

Restaurante Khong-Tsha is a vibrant gem nestled in the heart of Playa de las Américas, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, delivering an authentic and diverse Asian dining experience that skilfully blends Chinese and Japanese influences. Specializing in Chinese and Asian cuisine alongside a tempting sushi selection, this eatery is a hotspot for those seeking flavorful, generous portions in a welcoming atmosphere.

Step inside, and you’ll immediately notice the thoughtful bilingual menus—an inclusive touch that caters to an international clientele—making it easy to navigate their culinary offerings with confidence. From the crunch of perfectly fried spring rolls to the bold, spicy kick of the kung pao chicken, each dish is crafted to engage your senses deeply. The vegetable chow mein and egg fried rice offer comforting, savory backings that round out a satisfying meal, while the sushi options add a fresh, delicate counterpoint. For vegetarian diners, Khong-Tsha’s clearly labeled options such as the vegetarian noodles and veg soups stand out with vibrant flavors and textures, showing the kitchen’s commitment to variety and quality.

The ambiance strikes a harmonious balance between relaxed and lively, with the choice of indoor and outdoor seating enhancing the dining experience. Whether you prefer the cool shelter inside or a breath of Tenerife’s oceanic breeze outside, you’ll find it suits groups and intimate meals alike. The interior décor respects Eastern aesthetics without feeling overwrought, presenting dishes that not only taste exquisite but are visually captivating—each plate a mini work of art, as highlighted by satisfied guests.

Service at Khong-Tsha deserves special mention; despite a bustling Friday night, guests appreciate the attentive staff’s efficiency and warmth, ensuring that orders come out fresh and timely, allowing you to indulge without feeling rushed. While some have noted slower service at times, the overall experience remains positive, bolstered by clean, well-maintained facilities including pleasantly appointed restrooms downstairs.

Drinks tend to be a pricier aspect of the visit, but given the exceptional quality, quantity, and artistry of the food, this is a reasonable trade-off. Khong-Tsha stands out for its generous portions that don’t compromise on flavor or presentation—a rare balance that leaves diners feeling both delighted and full without overspending.

Whether you’re craving hearty, spice-infused Chinese classics or the subtle elegance of sushi, Restaurante Khong-Tsha delivers a flavorful journey through Asia’s culinary landscape, promising rich tastes, attentive service, and an atmosphere that warmly welcomes every guest.

Lovely Asian restaurant. The menu is in multiple languages, good service, and good flavors. The vegetarian items are clearly labeled which is useful. Indoor and outdoor seating are available. Toilets downstairs are quite clean and nice too.

We came as a party of two on a Friday night at around 8pm. The restaurant was busy and from previous reviews, I was quietly anticipating a long wait for service…. I was wrong! We were sat down immediately, given the right amount of time to order drinks and food, which arrived promptly. We had spring rolls, kung pow chicken with vegetable chow mein and egg fried rice. Personally, 1 starter, 1 meat main, a vegetable side and plate of rice was more than enough for two people. Good price good place, I’d go again

Enjoyed the noodles and location, ribs and starters just OK. Can understand the mixed reviews here, but not the worst. Choose wisely.

Amazing food and warm service for a fair price. Food portions are extremely royal (big!) and cost little for what they offer both in quantity and quality. Also, Khong-Tsha offers some of the most beautifully decorated Eastern dishes I've seen; which is saying something! Balancing out the affordable food are relatively expensive drinks, but that's more than forgivable given the pros of this restaurant.

Came in as passing and had a wonderful set meal. Staff were excellent (especially with our 14 month old). Could not fault it one bit. Excellent food and good value for money.

One of the best red Thai Currys, and the chicken and prawn phai Thai was so tasty too we ended up going back here a couple of nights. The food dishes coming out to other tables looked amazing we just didn't have time to try more, but definitely going back for that curry was so tasty. Definitely worth a stop in if you are passing. Overall can't fault it.

It's awesome, im a regular guest at many chinese restaurants around the globe and never experienced one as good as this, they clearly went to china in order to select the best cooks. Authentic chinese kitchen, and impeccable beef with black bean sauce :) Just be careful not to sit at the edge of their terrace, they don't pay enough attention to those sides when you try to call a waiter. I ate here twice and the difference is noticable
